Because I Know You’re Able
“God, why does it seem that I am always in pain?”
“Because I know you’re able to bear it,” He said.
“God, why does it seem like I am talked about so much?”
“Because I know you’re able to bear it,” He said.
“God, why does it seem that the burden I carry is always so heavy?”
“Because I know you’re able to bear it,” He said.
“God, why does it seem that so much bad happens to me?”
“Because I know you’re able to bear it,” He said.
“God, why does it seem that I am the tail instead of the head?”
“Because I know you’re able to bear it,” He said.
“God, why does it seem like I am so unlovable?”
“Because I know you’re able to bear it,” He said.
“Yes, my child you’re able to bear it—
For I planned it from the start.
No matter what you face today,
I’ll shield you in my heart.
I only send my strongest soldiers
To fight on the front line.
I chose you from the beginning
And made you one of a kind.
I never set you up for failure,
The victory’s yours to claim.
I’ve heard each prayer you prayed to me
So earnest in my Son’s Name.
Oh, yes, you will come through these trials,
For failure is not a choice.
Your faithfulness and daily walk
Show you have heard My Voice.
So boldly stand on my promises,
And know each one is true–
For when you’re able to bear it, My child,
I’m there to bear it for you.”
