Reflect A Moment/July-August 2011
For this generation, we spread abroad, WORLDWIDE, a beam of light (YESHUA), a glimpse of Hope and Truth, as we prepare the way and usher in the imminent return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Included in this newsletter are articles which the Father has graced me to write entitled *Make Us One*. As it’s name implies, my hearts cry is for the entire House of Israel to come together in oneness; Jews & Non-Jewish believers together, walking as one man; coming into the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Yeshua the Messiah). I pray like Jesus prayed…….
Father Make Us One
In His Eternal Love & Service,
Gods Handmaiden
Also in this newsletter be blessed by the poetry from members of the Kingdom Poets, and others, as they share with you what the Lord has placed upon their hearts for the Body of Christ!
If we are abiding in Him, speaking of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are to certainly walk as He walked, and keep His Commandments. I tell you the truth, it seems like the closer we get to the return of Jesus Christ, the more excuses you hear, from those who suppose to be in the Body of Christ, as to why we can’t keep His Commandments. Let’s be real people of God, and keep it simple, just like Jesus did. He loves simplicity. He said
If you love me, keep My Commandments. (John 14:15)
Now Jesus knew that His people did not have the ability to keep His laws and statutes apart from the Holy Ghost, and the children of Israel definitely testified to that when they came out of Egypt. As you will remember, Moses was only gone for a minute, and Gods chosen people immediately broke commandment number one, *Thou shall have no other gods before Me*. Let’s take a look at that account before we talk more about the Holy Ghost.
And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me. And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. (Exodus 32:1-4)
Can you all believe this? After all that the Lord did for them by bringing them out of Egypt with a Mighty Outstretched Hand, they called this calf, which they made with their own hands, their god, thereby breaking commandment # 1.
And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD. And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play. (Exodus 32:5-6)
And today many are still playing, and the Lords anger is being kindled.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. (Exodus 32:7-8)
The Lord quickly withdraw Himself from His own people, and didn’t want to have anything to do with them.
And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever. And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people. And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables. (Exodus 32:9-16)
Do yall see that? The Ten Commandments were so important to the Lord that He took the time to write them out with His very own Fingers. And what He said then . . . He still says today because He doesn’t change. He’s the same God yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) As I mentioned earlier, the Lord knew that the children of Israel would not be able to keep His Commandments, prior to Him coming and dying for the sins of the world. However, He was teaching them lessons in obedience, and those lessons of obedience would later equip them in receiving the help that He would send.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them. Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us? And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods. (Deuteronomy 31:16-18)
You all see that? Once again, the Lord knew that they would turn to other gods and would not obey. But what they did served as examples for us, so that we would not follow in their footsteps.
Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. (1 Corinthians 10:1-13)
There it is . . . God allowed those things to happen to the children of Israel as examples to us, upon whom the ends of the world are come. We don’t have to make the mistakes they did. We now have the Holy Spirit, to help us escape the temptations that come upon us, on this daily walk with the Lord. Once again today, Jesus is still saying, if you love Me…..Keep My Commandments. That is so simple . . . The simplicity of the gospel. It boils down to *who* really and truly *loves* the Lord. Now if you are one of those individuals who likes to say . . . Well nobody’s perfect, and God Himself knows that we can’t keep all those commandments, after all that’s why Jesus died. Well my friend, you have woefully been uninformed, and have fallen for the lie from the devil. Granted, yes, in our own strength, and by our own power, we can’t do anything. We can’t even wake ourselves up in the morning, more less keep the commandments of God, but, through the Power of Gods Spirit, we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us. The Lord has sent us some help. He sent us one who is a counselor, a helper, an intercessor, an advocate, a strengthener, and a standby. He sent us the Holy Spirit and he is available right now to all that will receive him. Listen to the Words of Jesus
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. (John 14:16-18)
Sisters and Brothers, do you see that? We are not alone, when His Spirit is with us, and when he lives in us.
Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (John 14:19-21)
There it is saints. If we have His Commandments and keep them . . . Jesus Himself said he it is that loveth Him, and that person shall be loved of the Father, and Jesus will love him, and manifest Himself to him. That’s good news my friends, and Jesus will never tell you to do something that you could not do. Through His Spirit, we can keep His Commandments. For those who have not received the gift of the Holy Ghost, the Apostle Peters words still ring loud and clear
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. (Acts 2:38-40)
And just like the Apostle Peter, we are proclaiming that same message today, loud and clear . . . Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Selah
Moments Of Meditation
Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. (Psalms 96:7-9)
And This Gospel Of The Kingdom Shall Be Preached….
As we draw closer and closer to the return of Jesus Christ, this handmaiden of the Lord has been given a mandate by God to Blow the Trumpet in Zion and to Sound the Alarm. My hearts cry is only that which has already been written in the Word of God, and I pray that he that has an ear, will hear what the Spirit of the Lord is speaking to the Church. “But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:13-14)
In His Eternal Love & Service,
God’s Handmaiden
God Ain’t Playin
The contractions are getting closer
The birth pains are intensifying
My people have fallen asleep
And all the Shepherds . . . Just keep right on lying
They’re yelling PEACE and SAFETY . . . To all my children
And many are acting like . . . All is well
Oh they go right ahead preaching about some temporary prosperity
But nobodies warning them . . . About burning up in hell
But My day IS coming . . . Oh yes it is
And it’s getting closer . . . I tell you closer than you might even think
For when I look at Sodom and Gomorrah all over again
Oh yeah this generation . . . It shall surely sink
That’s why I’m sending the fire . . . Oh yes I’m sending the hail
The volcanoes . . . And the earthquakes too
Because wickedness & iniquity . . . Has surely covered the land
And walking the straight and narrow . . . There’s simply only a few
From the east to the west . . . Oh yes I’m sending my judgements
From the north and south . . . They’re all included in this too
And I tell you . . . Only a remnant . . . Shall be able to escape
So it’s time to seek me . . . If it’s the last thing you do
America the day of the LORD . . . I tell you it’s very near
A day of darkness . . . Is surely close at hand
You see the time of Jacobs Trouble . . . Is right now at the door
And only the righteous . . . Shall be able . . . Yes to stand
Look here . . . Babylon is falling . . . I tell you it’s coming down
The signs of nature . . . Are speaking loud and clear
Saying REPENT . . . REPENT . . . And turn to God
Somebody better wise up . . . And begin to show some fear
Because………
God Ain’t Playin
