Tomorrow by Jo Jo Conklin

 

The tears that we cried yesterday

Will be gone with the dawn’s early light

And the cares that may come tomorrow

Won’t come to you this night

 

Tonight we will trust in our Savior

To provide the strength we all seek

To meet the demands tomorrow may bring

And trust He will supply every need

 

He knows what the future is bringing

His hand’s not too short to provide

He covers us all with His presence

And He’s given angels charge over His child

 

Life can only be lived one day at a time

And yesterday is already gone

Whatever we’ve said cannot be unsaid

And what we have done cannot be undone

 

If we prepare our lives in the present

Tomorrow won’t have to be feared

If we live our life in Jesus Christ

God’s grace will be with us through the years
